A Smile Designed for You

Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made shells of dental porcelain that cover the front surface of your teeth. They're ideal for fixing chips, gaps, staining that doesn't respond to whitening, and minor alignment concerns — all in one treatment.

Each veneer is hand-crafted to match the shape, shade, and translucency of your natural teeth. The result is a smile that looks beautiful in person and in photos.

Porcelain Veneer FAQs

How long do porcelain veneers last?

High-quality porcelain veneers typically last 10–15 years, and many patients see them last 20 years or more with good care. Porcelain doesn’t stain like natural enamel, so they tend to hold their appearance well over time.

Do veneers ruin your teeth?

No, but the process is irreversible. We remove a thin layer of enamel — usually less than a millimeter — to make room for the veneer. Once placed, the veneer protects and strengthens the tooth underneath.

What’s the difference between veneers and crowns?

A veneer covers only the front surface of a tooth and is used for cosmetic improvement. A crown covers the entire tooth and is used when the tooth is significantly damaged or weakened. Veneers preserve more of your natural tooth.

How many visits does it take to get veneers?

Typically two visits. The first includes a consultation, digital impressions, and preparation of the teeth. Custom porcelain veneers are then crafted in a dental lab, and you return 1–2 weeks later to have them bonded.

Will my veneers look natural?

That’s our priority. Dr. Perez designs each veneer to complement your face shape, skin tone, and natural smile. Modern porcelain reflects light the same way enamel does, so well-crafted veneers are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.
